In 2014, our co-founder and CEO, Yan Zagatsky, left his role as a Software Product Manager at NOVA Measuring Instruments (TLV: NVMI), the company creating tools for semiconductor manufacturing, to pursue his passion. He teamed up with a friend, an established Israeli restaurateur, to start a new fast-dining restaurant. However, as Yan delved into the world of food and on-demand delivery, he encountered numerous technology challenges that lacked viable solutions.
Being a technology manager, Yan gathered a team of his friends and former colleagues to create a solution for streamlining on-demand delivery operations. Thus, DelivApp was born. Initially designed as a delivery management tool for restaurants working with their own drivers, DelivApp has since grown into a comprehensive platform, allowing multiple integrations with third parties, that helps businesses run their on-demand delivery business from A to Z.
Today, we proudly power some of the most prominent names in the industry, in Israel and beyond. Our technological suite of tools includes online ordering for multi-location brands and local marketplaces, a robust loyalty program and engagement module, and our flagship offering: the on-demand delivery management engine. With millions of orders processed annually, our platform continues to scale together with our customers.
We see our mission as leveling the playing field for medium-sized businesses that cannot afford their development department but still feel the need to offer consumers modern digital services, just as McDonald's and Yum! Brands do.
